PES Training:-
NVQ Level 2 in Spectator Safety
PES operate an in-house training programme.
ALL SIA Officers and Stewards who work for PES are trained to this nationally recognised and industry standard City and Guilds qualification.
The qualification comprises classroom sessions with continous observations at events by the PES team of qualified A1 Assessors and Internal Verifiers.
Qualification Modules:-
Unit 1:- Prepare for Spectator Events.
Unit 2:- Control the entry, exit and movement of people at spectator events.
Unit 3:- Monitor spectators and deal with crowd problems.
Unit 4:- Help to manage conflict.
Unit 5:- Contribute to the work of your team.
Unit 6:- Deal with accidents and emergencies.

PES can also arrange fully funded NVQ training for any "in-house" stewards who are currently employed by sporting or leisure organisations. We are currently supplying this service for Scottish Racing and Durham County Cricket Club.
